The NAWMP Action Plan, companion document to the 2012 NAWMP is available at the link below. It provides initial guidance and strategic ideas for implementing the 2012 NAWMP. As its title implies, the Action Plan is a call to action. In addition to identifying key actions for each of the seven recommendations in the 2012 NAWMP, it contains technical details and ideas to advance creation of an integrated waterfowl management enterprise.

In addition, the 2012 NAWMP and Action Plan will be the topic of a special session at the Ecology and Conservation of North American Waterfowl Symposium in Memphis, Tennessee. The Session will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 27. Conference attendees are encouraged to attend this session which will focus on next steps for implementation.
